Kavita assists constituent units across campus in securing investments from corporations and foundations for their work in teaching, public service and research that span the globe. She pursues new partnership opportunities for innovative collaborations across units and with forward-thinking organizations.

Michelle researches foundations, organizations and associations for development officers in the Office of Foundation Relations and Industry Engagement and across campus. She produces reports on finances, giving and prospects to advance development goals. Michelle serves as a systems liaison between the content management system used by University Development and the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations.

Cathy guides faculty and administrators in their research proposals to foundations. She manages timelines, reviews budgets and insures adherence to guidelines. She works closely with units across campus to produce narratives that reflect the innovative goals of the University.

Meghan Hauser serves as the Director of Industry and Foundation Relations for Pharmaceutical Sciences in the Eshelman School of Pharmacy and is a member of the Corporate and Foundation Relations team in University Advancement. In this role, she focuses on building strong partnerships with corporations and foundations and aligning their interests with the research, programs, and institutional priorities within the School. She also stewards and advances the School’s relationship with these constituents.

Prior to joining the Eshelman School of Pharmacy, Meghan led the Foundation Relations team within the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University of Georgia. Her career has spanned 18 years working in advancement, campaign strategy and nonprofit management.

Chrissy Kinkade is Director of Industry Engagement at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She has an extensive background in academic-industrial research partnership and scientific research. In this role, Chrissy works to identify the highest value industry partners and structure mutually-beneficial collaboration models. These collaborations provide opportunities for new research partnerships, share complementary resources, enable co-location, develop talent exchange, and create joint ventures.

Mary Beth cultivates donor relationships to support wide-ranging programs and cutting-edge research at UNC. She engages with faculty and researchers to determine opportunities for partnerships with corporations and foundations and works to expand mutually beneficial relationships with external organizations.

Kadi provides administrative support to six Corporate and Foundation Relations directors. She manages calendars, coordinates site visits, prepares reports and other written materials, arranges travel and fulfills requests and special projects as they arise.

Angela seeks to forge productive relationships between the University and major private funding organizations. She develops unit-specific strategies to strengthen the impact of academic programs and centers throughout the region and beyond. Angela connects units with strategic partners and guides them through donor-focused proposals.

Misha provides support to the associate vice chancellor. She manages the budget for the Office of Corporate and Foundation Relations and organizes internal and external meetings and events for donors, prospects and University leadership. Misha assists with the creation and design of brochures, proposals, presentations and stewardship reports and other special projects.

Patrick Ratliff is the Director of Industry Engagement Officer for Kenan Flagler Business School at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Patrick pursues strategic partnerships with corporations and foundations and secures support for the mission and priorities of UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School. He engages with faculty and staff leadership to determine opportunities for partnerships and works to expand mutually beneficial relationships with external organizations.

Diane builds strategies to approach corporate and foundation funders, guides the development of proposals and works closely with faculty, administrators and development colleagues across campus to refine and submit compelling cases for funding.

Laura pursues partnerships with corporations and foundations and secures support for joint innovative biomedical programs at UNC-Chapel Hill and North Carolina State University. She works with individuals and organizations to expand involvement and collaboration in research initiatives.
